Funny sayings of the day, courtesy of Mr. T:
"Mama here. I save this piece of cheese in my shirt pocket for you." 😆😍
Yes, I ate said mushy warm cheese, because I love him!
A while later he comes downstairs with wet hair. I asked him if he had taken a shower with his dad.
"Yes mama, do I smell good?"
"Yes! You smell very nice buddy."
"Will you hold me in your arms on the couch mama?"
And that's where I am right now, because I love him so ❤️

Fair Time
Today we took our boys to the Western Idaho Fair. It was family day, which meant that there was no smoking or alcohol allowed (woohoo) and it was a perfect 80 degrees! My oldest has been asking to go on rides for months, and so he was beyond excited! We went to the petting zoo where they had lots of adorable pygmy goats, as well as full size goats that we got to pet and feed. They had cows, horses, a bull and a yak, and lots of chickens and bunnies. Both of my boys absolutely loved the animals, but my youngest was just elated!
Next was the quest to find the perfect ride for our three and a half year old to spend his tickets on... We had 25 tickets, and we were determined to make them count! We passed flying pirate ships, bouncing kangaroos, a Jeep roller coaster...nothing was good enough for this pint sized adventure seeker! The first ride he conquered was the tall Ferris Wheel with Daddy, and let me tell ya that carnie must have known that he had a very excited little boy on his ride! They went around TEN times!
Which ride would be next... the giant slide of course! What little boy doesn't love a good slide, am I right?! This carnie was awesome too, and let Daddy ride with T for free! Woohoo! So, they hiked up the mountainous stack of stairs each carrying their potato sacks, and Daddy helped T get into position... WHOOSH!!!! My child flew down that slide so fast and I watched and filmed at the bottom, and couldn't help but laugh at the sheer terror on his little face haha! Daddy came up behind him so fast that it knocked him over. I carried him for a little while after that and he said "Mama that slide was really scary!" oops....
Next ride was going to be Mommy's choice, whether anyone liked it or not! After all, I have always been a lover of rides and all things fast and exciting! I chose the flying Hot Air Balloons (Tilt-A-Whirl) because it's basically a classic! Anyway, me and T climbed into our blue Hot Air balloon and we spun, and spun, and spun....and we laughed, and laughed and laughed...until I looked down at that pint sized adventure seeker of mine and decided that the spinning had better stop stat....or that little man just might hurl all over mama haha... oh how I love that boy!!!!
For our last few tickets it was my mission to find a ride that I could take my sweet 18 month old on! I sought out the carousel and we climbed aboard. I strapped P on to a mid size brown pony and we waited very...very impatiently for the ride to start, but when it did my baby boys face lit up like the fourth of July! That is a look I hope never to forget! He was on cloud 9! When that ride ended and I took him off of his fine steed all hell broke lose! Eek!! I quickly handed him to Daddy and we were off to find some good fair eats before making the trek home. It was a great day!!!
